WHo are these people? And why are they iN my office?
Sarah (Dip Journ) and Phil McCarthy (BA, Dip Journ) are a pair of not-quite-born and for-the-most-part-bred Southlanders with a passion for words, stories, collaboration, the arts, business, craft beer and Pinot noir.
We have both worked in Southland for many years helping people tell their stories as reporters and columnists for The Southland Times and The Eye.
Phil has experience as a newsroom Chief Reporter, teaching journalism and as a communications manager. He was a judge in the 2019 NZ Community Newspaper Awards. Sarah is an experienced MC, dabbles in event management, has interviewed a former PM in front of 900 people, and helps to create a vibrant arts community in the South.
Sarah is a Shakespeare in the Park Trust trustee. Phil is a Heritage South trustee.
We've worked with many businesses and organisations; sharing our research, writing and public relations skills and helping get the job done.
Our ability to introduce clients to fresh and innovative ideas are ideally suited to a time when industries are constantly looking at how and why they do what they do.
We want to assist Southland businesses and organisations to adapt, evolve and grow in a constantly changing environment.
Everyone has a story. Let us help tell yours.
